A Lullaby

March 29, 2011

passing me in a dungeon

they're whipping and ripping and tearing my skin

the blood splatters onto the curtain

see how it's running down over my shin

Carry me someone, my bones have been halved!

My hollow head echos with cries from the past.

I haven't the slightest idea what to do,

but cower and wish that I were more like you.

if demons within

are those who will win

then grant me one wish

before taking me in

pluck out your eyes

and replace them with mine

see all that drives me

to speak morbid rhyme

then cast your shadow

over my head

and squeeze me tight

until I am dead
